Mrs Brimbles was my first visit. Straight away my eye was drawn to this Kaiser Craft personal sized planner. Something about it said BUY ME haha. I’ve always wanted to write, obviously I write my blog but I want to play around with creative writing. With that in mind, after carrying it around for a while, I decided to buy it. It’s navy with gold accents and looks like a Traveller’s Notebook however it does have rings. Once opened it folds out with the left hand side being wider. It’s so smooth to the touch and very bendy which I love! It still doesn’t yet lie flat but with a bit of teasing I will get around that.
As well as this I bought two sets of journal cards. The first are Project Life cards and the second are Heidi Swapp. I like to use these for art journal work or decorating my planner (hole punched or sticking out of pockets).
I could have bought so much more, in fact the Heidi Swapp cards were bought on a second visit later in the day! I was also eyeing up the Heidi Swapp planner kit and the Jane Davenport art products.
I then went on to Suzy Stick It. This stall had so many eye catching things! I decided to buy a few Dew Drop Vera Magic ink. I have these in black and white but recently I’ve wanted to try different colours. I’ve tried using the black in my bullet journal for planning but it’s quite heavy. I decided to get a grey/green ink and the results are much better, I also went for a pink and a blue!
Suzy also had journal cards on her stall so I couldn’t resist getting some more, these are by MAMBI.
I spotted some coffee cup and Donut paper clips by Doodlebug, had to get them! As they were the last ones I decided to half them with a friend.
Visiting twice seemed to be my habit for the day/evening. Suzy kept her stall open as we had an evening planning session (mostly drinking and catching up). At this point I spotted the Oli Clips! I’ve been tempted by them before but shied away because of the price. I didn’t really know what the fuss was about until I got to see them. I tend to clip pages together so I can easily navigate to key areas of my planner. The drawback of this is that the clips don’t always stay on, I’ve had them fall off in my bag/random places in the house. The Oli Clip is super strong! It’s a magnetic clip but the magnet is unbelievable! They come in some lovely colours, even glittery ones! I opted for a pack of smaller sized magnets in bright colours.
Now as well as all the above I received even more! An amazing friend named Laura had recently come back from New York. On this visit she grabbed a few bits for me from Michaels.
We halved a beautiful 12×12 scrapbook pad full of stunning designs, gorgeous colours and foil details. I also got one of the Recollections zip planners! It’s stunning! With it, I got some pocket folders and to-do type inserts (bought as extras).
I actually got back from Newcastle and was overwhelmed with the amount of stuff I had. It’s probably why it’s taken me time to write. I wanted to go through everything, organise it and appreciate what I had. I love it all!
So that’s everything from the Pamper and Plan haul.
Thanks for stopping by,
*apologies for darkness of imagery, it’s been one of those weeks!*
